Over the years, with a hospital of five veterinarians and 40 odd employees, the administrative problems just became too much for non-professional people to handle. I could tell that we were not doing things right. We had to reinvent the wheel every time a situation came up. In addition, we were spending too much money calling an HR person who was our phone consultant, but she simply was not invested in the hospital. This faceless HR person was just answering each question as it came up. It became very obvious that although we excelled at veterinarian medicine, we simply could not handle our own human resources very well. It was so very nice to be able to hand over these problems to a professional organization that understood us.

I have come to so appreciate the capabilities of Total HR; their focus on helping us with things like training the receptionists and working out our staffing problems.
