Total HR has partnered with Transamerica as the provider for this plan because of its reputation and experience administering Multi-Employer 401K plans.
A Multi-Employer plan is a plan designed specifically for firms like Total HR providing an affordable way for our client companies to offer a retirement investment plan. As a Total HR client you can adopt your very own customized 401K plan for $38 per participant per year (minimum administrative fees are $250 per year) in record keeping, testing and filing fees (these fees can be paid by you/the employer or passed along to the employees participating in the plan). For those of you who have had 401K plans in the past or have looked into them you know that the record keeping fees alone for 401K plans can cost $1500 per year or more, with additional costs for discrimination testing and 5500 filings. So we are very excited about the opportunity to provide our client companies and their employees a chance to contribute to a 401K plan as part of this program. Additionally our Multi-Employer plan is completely customizable, allowing you to choose whether or not you want to make a matching contribution, implement a profit sharing program etc.
